Daniel Amokachi appointed JS Hercules manager

The former Nasarawa and Ifeanyi Ubah manager has signed a year deal with the Finnish division two outfit
Former Nigeria international Daniel Amokachi has been appointed as head coach of Finland’s JS Hercules for one year.


Amokachi will lead the newly promoted Finnish division side when the season begins and he is expected to bring his experience to the fore.

“It is certainly an adventure and a big change for me,” Amokachi told the club website.
“I take this is a great challenge. The team is young and passionate. I’m looking forward to working with them.”

According to club’s chairman Juho Syrjä, the Delicacy are proud to have the former Super Eagles star who played to the highest level.

“We are proud to work with him, as even in Finland Amokachi is well-known. He will bring new insight to our team because he has seen it all during his career,“ said Syrjä.

Before his move to Finland, Amokachi was in charge of Nigeria Professional Football League outfit FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
