Former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o visited Barcelona's training ground on Monday to wish his former teammates luck in the final stretch of the season, following their poor recent run of form.

Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi, has scored his 500th career goal.
The Argentina captain netted in the 63rd minute of their La Liga clash with Valencia on Sunday, which they lost 2-1 at the Nou Camp.

Messi, who was making his 525th appearance for Barca, has now netted 450 times for the Catalan club and 50 for Albacete.

The Champions League draw for the semi finals took place in Nyon this morning and Real Madrid were paired with Manchester City.

That meant Barcelona's conquerors Atletico Madrid play Bayern Munich for the right to claim a place in the final.

Russian businessman, investor, politician and owner of Chelsea football club, Roman Abramovich gave a £25 million yacht to Russian president Vladmir Putin, new reports claim. Dmitry Skarga, a former head of Russia’s state shipping company, Sovcomflot, said the boat was a gift from Abramovich, who transferred it to the president via an intermediary associate.
