MANCHESTER UNITED will reportedly pay £45million to sign Benfica's Renato Sanchez in the summer, claims his agent.
Renowned 'super agent' Jorge Mendes represents the 18-year-old and reportedly told Portuguese Newspaper O Jogo the deal is on.
It's
understood United will part with £45million for the Portugal U19
international, who has been turning heads in the Primeira Liga
The
latest move is apparently made up of £30m plus a further £15m in
bonuses and is a considerable improvement on their previous offer.
United reportedly tabled a £30m bid last week, as the January transfer window neared its close, that was rejected by Benfica.
However, the deal seems to be moving ahead now with 'an agreement in
principle' for the midfielder to move to Old Trafford over the summer.
