Lewandowski Reveals His Childhood Hero…Its An Arsenal Legend

Bayern Munich and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski has revealed his childhood hero is Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

The Poland striker has scored 23 goals in all competitions already this season.
Speaking of his admiration for Henry, Lewandowski told Telefoot that the former Barcelona, Juventus and AS Monaco striker’s technique and celebrity intrigued him.
He said: “I’ve always tried to follow the example of Henry, my childhood hero. His technique, his celebrity, he has always impressed me.”
Henry holds the record of being Arsenal’s all-time record goalscorer with 228 goals in 377 appearances.
The Poland international was the top scorer in the EURO 2016 qualification campaign with 13 goals – and he insists Poland will fear no team.
He said: “Winning the Euros? Perhaps it’s too early. But our team doesn’t fear anyone. It will be a great event. I hope Poland will be the surprise.”
Lewandowski was voted third on the Ballon D’or list of best players in 2015 behind Neymar of Barcelona and ahead of Luis Suarez who also plays for the Catalan club.
